About Me
I was a second-career teacher, newly retired. In my other life, I crunched numbers as an accountant. Probably would have made a great math teacher had the thought occurred to me. No matter, I'm where I'm supposed to be. I have 2 grown daughters, 2 sons-in-law, a baby granddaughter, 2 poodles, and 1 hubby. I live and worked on Long Island.
I love HaikuDeck...it is such a slick, pleasing format isn't it? I tried using it with my 8th graders at the beginning of the year and it was a mess. So many couldn't access it from home (forgetting log-ins, my computer doesnt work, etc etc).
ReplyDeleteWhat I especially love is the focus on the image. What a wonderful way to compose.
Good for you that you got this far...I love fooling around with all the cool stuff out there, but I always get stuck with that last part - getting it uploaded!
ReplyDeleteI finally tried HaikuDeck. Great fun! I couldn't get the piece with all the lines of poetry to appear, though. It just showed the title and not the lines of the poem. Oh, well, the rest worked.
ReplyDeleteLoved "spring on her way home".
